The essence of a daily routine - about revolutions and daily habits

It takes courage, confidence and above all love to stand up for the things you believe in....

How many days have you already spent recalling thoughts, conversations, ideas over and over in your head, asking yourself "What if...?".

What if I had said NO? What if I had said that I believed in this idea? What if...? What...?

And you will wake up and time will no longer be given. The word revolutionary defines above all the willingness to go one step further than the idea of revolution.

Due to the current social challenges, it takes courage, self-confidence and above all love to let the voice sound louder in the long run, to stand up for oneself and one's ideals -it's not just a Revolution, it's Revolutionary- which can involve or cause a complete or dramatic change.

What does it take to stand up for the things you believe in?

No revolution has ever started without the love of the things you believe in.

Do you feel the drops on your hand that bring you the moment of now?

Occupying ourselves with the past or living in the future with our thoughts are the results of our ego. These thoughts distract us from perceiving life in the here and now. It seems easier to hide behind what has been or will come than to face the reality of the here and now.

I remember a line in Eckhart Tolle's book NOW, where he gives an exercise to feel the water on the skin while washing your hands. This moment, he describes as the state of the human mind in the NOW, which can be related to the second pillar of the Yoga Sutras Sadhana Pada, according to Alen Finger as "the actions that lead us to experience the now."

To lead a revolution, your own revolution, requires continuous practice. My favourite Sanskrit word for this is sadhana. The Sanskrit word sadhana refers to all the actions we perform in the context of reconnecting with our own expanded nature as pure consciousness. Sadhana is a dynamic process that focuses on our actions to push us forward.

However, it is not easy to always implement a daily sadhana when you are not in your self-created peak form. It takes the revolutionary idea of believing in yourself daily, through simple little tasks that start in the morning: Drink a glass of water, close your eyes and breathe for a few minutes; whatever you do, do it in small steps. Because it' s the little actions that lead us to long-term visions.

Mucho Love,

Estefania
